Game Drives

If you don’t immediately associate the terms “Stairway to Heaven” and “Oblivion” with adventure then you haven’t experienced Zambezi Whitewater.

Departs daily for Full or Half Day trips. The rapids on the Zambezi River are officially defined as “Grade 5” by the British Canoe Union (Grade 6 being commercially un-runnable). You should be reasonably fit for this activity, as there is a fairly steep walk into & out of the Batoka Gorge as well as the white water rafting activity itself. Tea, coffee & biscuits are served in the morning at check-in, after which you are taken to the Gorge for the safety briefing before the days’ activity commences. Depending on the activity booked, a light lunch is either served in the gorge between rapids (Full Day), or at the top of the gorge (Half Day).

Zambezi Canoeing

Upper Zambezi Canoe Safari – Paddle or be paddled down this beautiful flat water section of the Zambezi through channels too narrow for anything larger than a canoe and so hidden from the larger pontoon boats and noisy speedboats.

Animals often seen are elephant, buffalo, waterbuck, impala and bush buck. birds like the African Finfoot, Pel’s Fishing Owl and many more. The silence of the three man fiberglass canoe enables one to glide past elephant, hippo and birds almost undetected.

Each boat seats two clients and is paddled by a professional canoe guide while clients sit back, relax and take in the scenery. As the sun lowers, the trip ends within sight of the spray rising from Victoria Falls ahead.

Clients will be on the river approximately two and a half hours. Transfer time to and from river is about 15-30 minutes.

Lion Walks

A Lion walk is an amazing walk with Lion cubs at Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve. You may witness a kill of the small impalas around. Lion walks takes g approximately one hour, this amazing experience is a great addition to Victoria Falls – Africa’s adventure capital.  You may even be lucky enough to experience a stalk on some of the wildlife species. No leashes or collars the pride runs freely with you through the bush. Guests may even be lucky enough to experience the young cubs on a stalk on some of the wildlife species that occur on the property. All walks are done by professional guides with vast knowledge of lions.

Lion walks are done in the morning or afternoon. Morning walks include English breakfast while afternoon walks include snacks and drinks.  Also include are transfers to the tour.

Flights of Angels
